Why Spartacus?
Spartacus was a Thracian gladiator and was one of the escaped slave leaders in the Third Servile War, a major uprising against the Roman Republic. Little is known about Spartacus beyond the events of the war, and surviving historical accounts are sometimes contradictory, however, all sources agree that he was a former gladiator and an accomplished military leader. This rebellion is seen by many as an example of oppressed people fighting for their freedom.
Catherine Bernard believes that we have become slaves to an Over-Criminalized Judicial System that supports the Militarization of Our Police. She believes it is time for all Liberty-loving individuals to stand up for the oppressed here in The Land Of The Free.
